EXPERIMENTAL PROJECTS DONE IN THE PAST

Presented Nangiar Koothu
1200 yrs. Old Sanskrit Women's theatre tradition of India and Kathakali on the same stage with the same theme Poothana Moksham assigned to them. Reputed artistes Usha Nangiar and Margi Vijayakumar performed in this project. It was a rare and unique aesthetical comparison of the male elements in female dancing and female elements in male dancing in two different art forms.

Release of three sets of audio cassettes in Kathakali music sung by three reputed senior singers of Kathakali music. - Kalamandalam Gangadharan - Venmani Haridas - Palanadu Divakaran

Release of the book `Proud Imprints of Natyaveda' in English by Ustad Zakir Hussain and `Natyaveda thile Pratapamudrakal' in Malayalam by Shashi Kapoor which compile the outstanding academic contributions of ten Gurus of various classical art tradition of Kerala.
This combined publication of keli and prithvi "is edited by V.Kaladharan,a well known critic of performing arts and the publicity and research officer of Kerala Kalamandalam.This project is supported by Ford Foundation"
